FORTY HOURS DEVOTION

NOVEMBER 5-7, 2023

As part of our three-year National Eucharistic Revival, we will have a Forty Hours Devotion from November 5 through November 7. The Forty Hours Devotion is a period of prayer for forty hours before the Lord truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. During this time, the Holy Eucharist is solemnly exposed in the monstrance, a vessel that allows the adorers to see the Sacred Host. Solemn exposition of the Holy Eucharist for forty hours is based on the tradition that Christ's body remained in the tomb for forty hours after His burial until His resurrection. Please join us whenever possible.

Sunday, November 5 - After 10 a.m. Mass, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament until 7 p.m. Evening Prayer. Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3 p.m.

Monday, November 6 - After 8:30 a.m. Mass, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament until 7 p.m. Evening Prayer. Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3 p.m.

Tuesday, November 7 - After 8:30 a.m. Mass, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament until Closing Prayer Service and Benediction. Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3 p.m.
