Music Ministry

St. Aloysius Music Ministry is a collection of musicians and cantors offering their talent to provide music for the parish. Cantors are needed for all Masses. A choir group sings at 9 a.m. Sunday Mass.

Tim Johnson is the music director, organist and may be contacted at 260-312-0531 or at Cheryl White is the organist/pianist. Paul Dietrich is the guitarist. We also have an occasional brass/woodwinds group. Additional musicians are welcome.

Our ministry is all volunteer. There is a stipend, however, for funerals and weddings, for both the musician and the singers.

Suggested fee for funeral Masses is $100 for musician and $75 for singers.

Suggested fee for weddings is $150 for musician (extra if a singer is selected from outside the parish community) and $100 for singers. All wedding music, including prelude, must reflect the sacramentality of marriage. Secular music would not be appropriate for wedding Masses.
